Automatic Lobster Knuckle and Arm Meat Removal
CMP manufacture an Automatic Knuckle and Arm Meat Removal Machine for easy extraction of lobster meat. This machine reduces labour and increases quality and yield. This unit features two cutting blades that cut through the shell of the lobster knuckle and arm at once. The knuckle and arm are placed on the belt and travel into the machine. Rotary blades cut the shell on both sides of the product. The product can then be transferred to a picking station for easy extraction. The machine accomplishes this operation without damaging the meat and allow it to be easily be removed in one solid piece. Traditional picking methods can damage the meat and require two operations by the picker. This machine yields a higher quality product.
