Project Manager
We are looking for an exemplary Project Manager who will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and requirements (technical, regulatory, and otherwise).
Key Responsibilities:
As a project manager, you will:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, requirements and deliverables.
Understand and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Develop strong relationships with clients. This involves ensuring client satisfaction, managing their expectations, and resolving issues quickly.
Continually assess and document project issues and risks and execute on appropriate action/mitigation plans.
Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement, and document lessons learned.
Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion.
Identify project risks, develop and implement migration and contingency plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent.
3 years of project management experience in the food processing industry.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Accreditation is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to approach technical problems from first principles.
A keen understanding of business objectives, and the ability to adapt accordingly to dynamic timelines.
Ability to travel to project sites in Canada and USA as needed (up to 25%).
Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000
